Chef Laurel
Waters has quite the culinary pedigree, having earned Le Grand
Diplome in Cuisine, Pastry and Wine from Le Cordon Bleu
in Paris. From there she went on to work at three of the finest
restaurants in Provence: Le Moulin de Lourmarin for Chef Edouard
Loubet (two Michelin
stars), L'Oustau de Baumaniere for Jean-Andre Charial (two Michelin
stars) and La Bastide de Moustiers (Alain Ducasse's Provencal
Farmhouse). In addition to being a world traveler, she is chef
and owner of
The Laurel Tree in Utopia, Texas. The restaurant is styled after
a European "Guest Table" and features seasonal cuisine
made with fresh herbs and vegetables from the adjoining "potager." |
